All about Ardnamurchan is a site dedicated to providing resources, information, links and photographs of Ardnamurchan, a peninsula on the north west coast of Scotland. The site was produced by Graham Olley a professional wildlife and natural history photographer and frequent visitor to the area, in an effort to share information and images of this fascinating area of Scotland. Ardnamurchan is not the easiest of places to get to, but it's well worth the effort.
Ardnamurchan is a wild, remote yet strangely beautiful place. Despite the remoteness, many small communities are scattered over the area, the principal one being Kilchoan. The peninsula is about 2 hours drive from Fort William. If you are travelling to Ardnamurchan from the south, the most direct route is via the Corran ferry. From Fort William another route is past Loch Eil on the A830, then through to Loch Ailort and back down to Ardnamurchan.
